Most credit union leagues offer some form of compliance services to their member credit unions. However, depending on the league, the extent of those services could vary widely. The services could simply consist of a newsletter that includes a compliance update, alerts when regulations change, and/or educational seminars or webinars on compliance issues.
All leagues now offer a link to InfoSight, an online compliance manual. Some leagues have individuals on staff that can respond to compliance questions and a few offer some form of compliance audit services, which could include BSA Independent Audits and/or comprehensive compliance audits.
While the newsletter, compliance updates and InfoSight access are offered as a part of membership, the seminars, webinars and audit services are usually a cost add-on. You will need to check with your individual league to find out the extent of compliance services it offers.
